I am a freelance writer and editor who recently moved from London to Connecticut.
I specialize in writing health, travel and parenting stories and have penned articles for leading magazines such as Time Out New York Kids, Chatelaine, Today’s Parent, Profit, Glow, Wish and Elevate. I am also the co-author of On The Reef (Firefly Books, September, 2016) and Under Your Nose (Firefly Books, July, 2015) and author of Hey Baby! What’s Your Name? A Canadian Guide to Naming Your Baby (John Wiley & Sons, 2005).
I was also Managing Editor of INBETWEEN Magazine, a much-needed and well-informed online magazine for the parents of teenagers.
I have appeared on numerous television and radio shows, including City TV’s Breakfast Television, CBC News Morning, CH Morning Live, CTV’s Good Morning Canada, The Mom Show, TV Ontario, Global Television News, Shop Toronto, Rogers Daytime, Medical Intelligence, CKCO’s The Vernile File and 680 News.
In addition to my work as a freelance writer and editor, I’ve been employed as Assistant Web Editor at Maclean’s, Acting Associate Health Editor at Glow, Microsite producer at Chatelaine.com and Editorial Intern at Chatelaine. I have also worked as a segment producer for CTV’s health show, Balance – Television for Living Well.
